Well done to  Captains Prize to the Juniors winners Ciara Rooney and Seth Meredith Category winners/runners up were Eoin Conneely, Conor McGee, Seth Meredith, Jack Murphy, Garret Mullen, David McGee, Brian O’Connor, Andrew McGee, Ciara Rooney and Nicole Reilly. At the presentation Moira Egan thanked all who took part and also thanked all those who helped with the coaching on Saturday mornings including Paddy Nangle, Brendan & Susan Gaffney and Paul Connolly. Ciara Rooney and Seth Meredith, on behalf of the Juniors thanked all the coaches during the season

Well done to Jim Mooney who won the mens competition yesterday evening with 21pts, 2nd Lionel Lynn 20pts, 3rd Jonathan Egan. Well done to Shane O’Dowd who won the two’s club.  

Well done also to Jonathan Egan who won his King Harmon semi-final against Gary Carty to set up a mouthwatering final against Martin Wynne. The blogs sports editor eagerly awaits interviews with the two combatants

Competitions for this week are the Mens Competition on Thursday night and a nine hole Scramble on Friday night. Next Sunday is an 18 Hole Stroke sponsored by Golf Style in Galway with valuable prizes on offer. The competition is also a golfer of the year. There are only three golfer of the year competitions remaining so next Sunday could make or break a number of players

The Club extend sympathy to Paddy Nangle and family on the recent death of his sister Nuala Bornemann in Cork and to Olivia Kelly & Pauline Ryan on the recent death of their sister Doctor Lauri O’Sullivan in Wexford. May they rest in Peace
