The news that a giant asteroid will hit the earth in 2880 and end the world came as a huge shock to Competition Secretary Michael Rush yesterday when he revealed the news that in a recent spending splurge he had purchased prizes up to the year 3000. Early reports indicate that he may have become disorientated following his defeat by Martin Wynne in the King Harmon during the week. Junior Finance Minister Liam Mullaney is anxious to learn the whereabouts of both the competition secretary and the prizes.
