Last of the turkey competitions today.
Still very little news of who “postman Pat” was delivering his letters to this week following the annual “I know how you played last summer” exercise
According to the clubs “interpid reporter” he was seen in the Tawnytaskin/Deerpark area but we await confirmation of which house he visited.

Last Sunday’s Turkey competition was won by Michael Rush 20pts, 2nd Brendan Gaffney 20pts, 3rd Gerry Carty 19pts. The weekly nine hole was won by Sean Heslin 22pts.
Competitions this week are the weekly nine hole can be played Monday – Friday. The Christmas Scramble is on Saturday December 27th, draw at 13.00 with shotgun start at 13.30. Next Sunday will be an 18 Hole.
The Club wishes all its members, friends and sponsors a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and look forward to a good golfing year in 2015.

Results of the Christmas Bonanza last weekend were; Winner Owen Garvin 42pts, 2nd Charlie O’Donnell 41pts, Gross Patrick Egan, 3rd Paddy McLoughlin 40pts. Ladies winner Aisling Gaughran. Student Lewis Shaw. At the presentation Captain Michael Rush thanked everyone for taking part and thanked Mary for her lovely food. He finished by wishing all the members a happy and peaceful Christmas.
Competitions for this week are the weekly nine hole from Monday to Saturday and next Sunday will be last of the Turkey competitions. The Christmas Scramble is on Saturday December 27th, draw at 12.00

The November draw was won by Liz & Jimmy Dwyer €70, runners up Mary McKeon and Liam Mullaney €40 each. Thanks to all who took part and good luck in the December draw
